Digital Arts At the start of 2022, students began a new project in Digital Arts collaborating with their ELA, Humanities, and Digital Literacy classes. Ros, Page, and Whitman are creating their own Illustrated Maps of Manhattan showing where their favorite places are located using iPad Pro's and Apple Pencils. Lawson, Dorsey, Sandberg and Bryant are creating their own Album covers for a playlist they created in ELA using Adobe Photoshop! Practical LivingRecently, students have been spending more time in the school building focusing on increasing their independent living skills! Students in the Dorsey cohort have been learning to shop, plan, and cook for themselves using healthy and simple ingredients. Students organized a shopping list, planned and executed a breakfast recipe in small groups. Classmates worked cohesively and cooperatively to create a balanced breakfast. Students were encouraged to take their skills home and cook breakfast for their families! Alumni Association Join us on Zoom for some fun playing trivia and hanging out with friends! Click HERE to register January 28th 4:30pm - 5:00pm $10 Transition Information Session The Transition Department will be holding a virtual information session on zoom featuring the Summer Immersion Experience Program, through a program called Transitions, located in Mayfield, NY. The camp supports young adults with developmental disabilities, ages 15-27. Young adults have a choice between a 2 or 3 week long session.
